    Daisy LodgeA week after the official opening of Daisy Lodge by Rory McIlroy. other sponsors were invited to a reception and a tour of Daisy Lodge.President Sam and Janine with a number of other Rotarians and their partners were given a tour of the 5 Star facilities which families going through cancer treatment are already enjoying.

    Cofffee and snacks were served and  the team at Daisy Lodge then  gave us a stimulating talk on the development and building of Daisy Lodge and the support it provides to families in a very difficult time in their lives

  • Jole ( Paddy Rider)District Conference 2014

     On the Sunday morning after  a late night at the District Conference Ball in the Titanic an enthusiastic group of cyclists took part in the second Paddy Rider event organised by the Lisburn and Lagan Valley Rotary Clubs
    Both Janis Wright and Sam Patterson welcomed 30 riders from 6 clubs.
    David Swetenham and Helen King co founders of Jole Rider Bikes fore Africa joined the Cyclists on their cycle along the Greenway to Comber.
    A snack lunch was enjoyed at North down Cricket Club. Snacks were provided by Titanic caterers and Philip Morrow of PRM and all cyclists relaxed in the warm autumn sunshine
    Fully refreshed the cyclists then made the return journey to the Titanic Centre
    All the proceeds from the sponsored ride will be used for shipping costs from Loughan House Open Prison to Jole Rider Uk in Tedbury near Bristol.
    Rotary Ireland is very shortly going to send our bike 1300 which will be donated by the RC of Cookstown.
