Focus on the Crocus

The Mayor Of Lisburn , President Trevor, Foundation Chairman Gary  and Committee members at the site of the Crocus planting in Lisburn as part of the Polio Plus campaign

Lisburn Council are supporting the project and have planted some 5000 Crocuses, which should flower in February 2011.

When they flower they should be in the shape of the Rotary Wheel

Seven local Primary Schools are taking part in the project and have also been given Crocus bulbs to plant, along with educational literature about the Polio Plus campaign. Click on this link to view details of Focus on the Crocus (http://www.focusonthecrocus.org/)
